Overview

The Wix integration lets you publish articles from Genseo directly to your Wix Blog.
Setup happens in two parts:
  1. Install the Wix Blog app on your Wix site
  2. Install and connect the Genseo Wix integration app

Before You Start

  • You need a Wix account with permission to install apps on the target site
  • You need access to your Genseo dashboard
  • If Wix Blog is already installed on your site, you can skip Step 1

Connect Wix in Genseo

Step 1: Install Wix Blog

  1. Open the Genseo dashboard
  2. Go to Integrations
  3. Click Connect Wix
  4. Click Install Wix Blog App
  5. In the Wix Marketplace, click Add to Site
  6. Select your Wix site and accept all requested permissions
Once completed, Wix Blog is installed on your site.

Step 2: Install and Connect the Genseo Wix App

  1. Open the Genseo dashboard
  2. Go to Integrations
  3. Click Connect Wix
  4. Click Install & Connect Wix
  5. In the Wix Marketplace, click Add to Site
  6. Select your Wix site and accept all requested permissions
  7. After the redirect back to Genseo, select your Wix site
  8. Click Connect to Wix
Your Wix site is now connected to Genseo.

Daily Auto-Publishing

Every morning, Genseo automatically publishes the post scheduled for that day.

Troubleshooting

Wix Site Does Not Appear in Genseo

  • Make sure you selected the correct Wix account during app installation
  • Verify you accepted all required permissions in Wix
  • Refresh the Integrations page and try selecting the site again

Connection Does Not Complete

  • Close the flow and restart from Integrations → Connect Wix
  • Confirm both apps are installed on the same Wix site:
    • Wix Blog
    • Genseo Wix integration app
