# Cursor, Claude, and more

> Use the same Genseo MCP endpoint in ChatGPT today and in Cursor, Claude, and Codex as clients roll out.

The Genseo **ChatGPT app** is the primary packaged experience today: OAuth, starter prompts, and reviewer-tested flows. See [Genseo in ChatGPT](/developers/chatgpt).

The same hosted MCP server powers other clients:

## Availability

| Client | Status |
| - | - |
| **ChatGPT** | Live app with OAuth |
| **Cursor** | MCP and plugin package; marketplace experience planned |
| **Claude** | Plugin and `.mcp.json` for developer install; broader marketplace planned |
| **Codex / other MCP hosts** | Remote HTTP MCP with OAuth or API key |

Until a marketplace listing is live for Cursor or Claude, use [AI Plugins](/developers/plugins) and [MCP Server](/developers/mcp) with a project-bound API key for local development, or OAuth where the host supports it.

## Same rules everywhere

1. List projects and select **one** `project_id` per chat.
2. Prefer **stored** visibility and audit reads in conversational UIs.
3. Confirm before publish, tracking runs, or audits that consume quota.
